Jack at Green Home

As we wait for more updates on the construction of HGTV Green Home 2010, I thought it would be fun to do a little teaser this morning. Can you guess which window house planner Jack Thomasson peers out of?

  1. Oh, this is too fun! I think that Jack is waving to us from the second floor single window on the left side of the house in the tower section (although it could be the front second floor window in the tower?!?!).

Boy, it reminds me of Professor Plum with the wrench in the conservatory! Thanks for the Clue!!!!! ;)

  2. It's certainly not taken from the Plymouth calaboose, since there aren't any bars on the window (how secure would that be?), so I think Lynn Coggin is right—it's a second floor tower window Jack is waving from (and after all, he IS looking down), but I can't be sure which one because we're missing the important clue that shows whether the long hair touches the ground or not….

  3. Cute, Jack!!! How cool that the window opens down!! I think that you are at the window in the stairway heading to the second floor, which is called the Tower… Thanks for giving us a peek… hope more to come soon!!!! Love life by living green and having a dream!!

  4. Hey Coop, I wanted to thank you for the info on the train ride!! We were just discussing going up North to see the trees, etc. The Thanksgiving ride sounds awesome and keeps me out of the kitchen for the day (or two)!!

  5. You are so welcome, reneelovesgreen. I had no idea myself that such a train ride was offered until I came across the site the other day. I've also put it on my long list of "must do's", so if you head up that way, and do take the train, fill us in with some reviews. (We'll be glad to hear tales of your trip whether you choose to take to the rails or not!)

  9. Mary: Doesn't matter which room Jack is looking down from, he would look great through any one of them!! My guess with this photo is that he is in the Tower!! Have I told you how much I love the tower for this home? Well, I do, it is fabulous!! It comes close to my dearest, dearest idea of my DREAM HOME!! Other than, HGTV building me a Lighthouse, this one will diffinately DO!!!

  18. I love this house, in fact better than the one in New Mexico, but I live in New Mexico! The window that Jack is standing in is in the tower! Congratulations, Jack, I envy your new view. This house is fantastic.

  19. How many bedrooms is this house I can't figure from the plans also can the basement be made into a guest suite or a mother-inlaw suite? We have a lot of history from the Mayflower on John Adams is an ancester and I think his town of Braintree is near there I can't wait to start posting everyday My grandaughter and I want to start doing some serious work on our family ancestry. Jack is in the 2nd story story stairwell wish I were there too. I' ve been wanting to move back to New England. Hope I can win this house.
