Energy Efficiency of HGTV Green Home
We’re leaking a detail today. Or, rather, the Super Fan is. She’s spilling the beans about the energy efficiency of this year’s Green Home. I think you will be impressed. More earth-friendly details to come in April.

I was looking at the rules and saw that one of the sponsors was shaw industries. Can I enter the sweepstakes if my sister works for shaw? I do not live with her, we both have our families. I will appreciate your response. Thanks!
Please tell me what kind of siding is used and the color and brand of white exterior paint. It's a lovely home, so well built. Thanks!
Wow, with the NAHB certificate the home will generate the same amount of energy it will use; energy, water efficient, quieter, better insulated and more comfortable than a standard home built to code. The home is absolutely beautiful and with all of the pops of color throughout the house (red countertop, dining room table, red powder room, magazine mirror, nautical sitting area, colorful bedrooms and elegant master bath with the shower features, etc.), makes it even more appealing. From everything inside to the outside, home appeal and surrounding community offers solace and a place where the energy of urban living meets the spirit of true American living. Everyone involved in the Green Home did a wonderful job.
Are there any solar panels attached to the home? Is this how it is so "green"? I haven't found any information about this, but haven't dug around too much either.
Hi, Gail. I am so captivated by this year's green home as I've always loved New England and would love the chance to reside there!! I love the design and know that my five children and my dogs would enjoy it to the fullest!! The only question that I have (well, my husband does) is if there is a garage and what the dimensions are as I didn't notice although I was more interested in the rest of the house, really. All in all, it's a fabulous home and I would love to make my dreams finally come true by living the New England life in such an environmentally friendly, energy efficient and cozy home!
is there an hoa fee at pinehills?
