HGTV Green Home 2011: Clue One

Believe it or not, we are nearing the announcement of our 2011 location. Think you know where it might be? Your first clue: The home site is definitely WEST of Plymouth, Mass. Discuss amongst yourselves.
You are so right Cami. Hawaii has figs and it is west of Plymouth. I think you are on to something!

So we have tamarillo and fig leaves represented on both sights.

The Green Home 2011 will be built at Lake Irene – Rocky Mountain National Park, CO…….no doubt in my mind.
Blog Cabin–yes yes on the top of the list, and you are entering every day I hope.
Not much of a clue………almost the entire US is west of Plymouth, MA. But I am glad we finally have something to blog about. I love the clue game!
Don't bet too much on your hunch Terri. "Mean Mary" is famous for messing with our minds. Her clues are never that direct! ^_^

Here we go again! Wow! We are gonna be busy bloggers! Every day it's entering for the blog cabin, then to the dream home to see whats happening there, now we get to start a green home blog. Where will I get the time? Let me just pencil all this in on my daily to-do-list…..hmmmm

I must agree with you about Mary. I guess it was wishful thinking on my part. I love CO.
I looked it up too and it is a tamarillo, a tree tomato. It's grown primarily in New Zealand and South America but I agree with Cami that it just has to be Hawaii this time since it is grown there too! I'd love to see it in Hawaii! Well, Hawaii is certainly WEST of Plymouth, MA and a lot warmer. Since 2009 was in FL I think and then they went cold, maybe, just maybe they'll go warm again. Huh, Cami? Maybe your wish will come true!!!!!!!

Oh Liz, I'm horrible at puzzles and clue games but even I came within 20 miiles of the Dream Home! After I actually did try to figure it out, it wasn't so bad. I had a little fun with it; The only part I don't like is all the whining when people want the place to be revealed. We get pretty demanding about that time. lol
Can someonen name the past Green Home locations? I know there is Florida and California right?

No Green Homes were FL, SC, MA and now CO.
Oh wow, now we have it. A home situated in a new community that is really CLOSE to DENVER and the ROCKY Mountains. This is a fantastic floor plan with a very cozy cottage exterior style, just what everyone was asking for. A family home in a family oriented area. Young digital era, green conscious families, get ready to enter~ Great Choice – amazing choice HGTV.
Well all I can say is there is a lot of West from Mass, but since it is specifically Plymouth maybe that's a clue. Maybe that vote we took about the next location near 4 different areas of water, is this home location.
Oooh, I just had a thought Ireland is known as the green isles. It is showing green leaf, and Boston is known for its Irish heritage. I was just in Ireland this Aug. and when the Irish visit the U.S. they usually visit NY, Cali or Boston Massachusetts! Yeah, just a thought but 2010 Green Home was just near there, "oh I don't know."

Plant is usually grown near mountains in sunny climates. In the US it's grown in California and occasionally in Florida – location must be California.
I will need to say that I think it could be the beaches of California!!!!! Could I be right? Maybe? Did anyone click onto the name in the photo of the leaf? The map will come up…And boom!!! We are at the beaches of the West Coast!!! Or is it that it was to throw us off track?
