Daydreaming About HGTV Green Home 2009

I was thinking about the HGTV Green Home on Saturday morning. I was sitting in my living room with my coffee in hand, checking the weather on my laptop and wondering what clothing to pack for our trip to Port St. Lucie (the HGTV.com staff is heading south this month to gather info for the online tour that launches in April). Then — with good eats always foremost in my mind — I clicked over to the Chowhound message boards in search of restaurant reviews. For this trip, I am thinking casual joints with pretty ocean views and really yummy seafood.

Great MGTOTD, Marie. I've found that another great way to avoid the fishy smell is dining at your favorite seafood restaurant. It also makes cleanup a breeze! Also, congratulations and good luck as a result of all your hard work on those holiday gift baskets. Katydid, you allude to a photo of DB Coop at the Captain's Table---how about during a head to toe seaweed/herbal wrap in the spa---the end result being the look of a fully wrapped (and desiccated) Egyptian mummy. Ha, instead of King Tut, you'd have a slightly older version, King Coop! By the way, could you hand me my Pharaoh's staff and bring the chariot around to the front, please---I've got a pyramid to build. It's either that, or win the HGTV Green Home 2010 in Pinehills! When it comes to a comparison of feature for feature, the Green Home wins hands down, and would be infinitely more liveable. As they say back in the Old Country, Plymouth Rocks!
