See the Flipping the Block Floor Plans

If you’ve been watching Flipping the Block like lots of HGTV fans, you know that all four properties are connected on one big lot. But, who lives where? And more importantly, where’s the pool? To help you get a lay of the land, here’s a visual of The Block’s buildings and common areas.

Flipping the Block Floor Plan

Unit A and B are right on the sidewalk of the tree-lined Glendale, Calif. street, with the garages right in the center and Units C and D tucked away in the back. And the brand new pool? It’s located just in front of John and Whitney’s Unit D.  Here’s a closer look at the upstairs layout of each condo:

Which unit has the best location? Which one would you bid on so far? Weigh in in the comments below.

  1. First off, I'd prefer the back units C and D, away from the street. Next, based on location alone and a little guesswork, I might lean slightly towards unit C which would appear to have more of a green space view and marginally more distance from the pool (a plus in my way of thinking) while unit D seems to look right out onto the pool.

On the other hand, I'm strongly drawn to John and Whitney's fashionable renovation style and thoughtfully planned landscaping, so in the end, for overall value added, that would definitely focus my interest on unit D for bidding.

Now that the four teams are well on their way to Flipping the Block, it'll be fun to see where the money trail leads when the bidding's done.

    • Yes, John and Whitney's house is definitely right on the pool. The good thing is, though, there is a privacy fence that still keeps their backyard space private. But the backyard space at Unit C is sooo nice, too. It's a tough call.

  2. John and Whitney's unit is definitely the one I would pick so far. Their design and attention to detail and doing things correctly as evidenced by the deck build are all so important to me.

Can't wait to see episode 5!

  3. I disagree with Scott's choice as the winner of Sunday's 8-17-14 episode. I didn't like John & Whitney's room. There was no wild factor and it didn't look good. It appears that HGTV is pushing to get these two their own show and it seems they are being the favorite. I also notice that they were being heavily shown on the commercials for this show, I guess someone complained and all of sudden all them were being featured.
