“Why can I never get my baking sheets 100% grease-free? I scrub and scrub, but there’s always that mysterious oily film.”—Kristin Shrout, Lee’s Summit, MO

“I can’t stand when there is cooking time left on the microwave—like if popcorn’s been popping and someone takes it out before the beep. Those final seconds that stay on the display drive my crazy!”—Shannon Watterson, Worcester, MA

“I line up my couch pillows 100 times a day—even though I have a toddler who likes to dive in and say ‘Mama, look at da big, big mess.’”—Lucie Leblois, Washington, D.C.

“I use this trick every time I’m late getting home at night: As soon as I walk in the door, the first thing I do is set the table. Even thought dinner hasn’t even been started, it makes my family think things are in progress.”—Deb Erickson, Holdrege, NE

We have a small "computer room" that is a total disaster…. loaded with books, bills, plants…. there is not a day that goes by that I don't try to "reimagine" this room….. i have tried bringing home boxes to donate some of the books, tried talking hubby into a laptop to get rid of the computer desk which takes up too much room….. anticipate spring weather to get the plants outside….. the room is a disaster!!!

Lorie I'm right there with you. I have a family of six and our office/computer room has become our "junk Draw"
simple things like the garbage can seems to always be over flowing in that room and the bills !!! who needs all those bills what old what new what is not even opened. I to have reimagined this room but getting them out of the room is the real issue.

Why cant laundry ever have an end?! I feel so good when it is all done and put away and then, there is always more!!!!!

  5. Marti F says:

Well, I have several: Like how to hide that big roll of toilet tissue. My family thinks that since there are bunches of rolls they can use them for anything. And finding an easy way to store those garden tools in the garage instead of leaving them all over the garage floor like my fiance and kids do. DRIVES ME NUTS!

  6. Jerry Durbin says:

it's a sickness i'm sure, but i re-arrange or decorate my house practically every single day of my life, i can't help it, i love doing it!, my mom growing up; would not let me touch our house, so when i moved out, all heck broke loose, my decorator self come out of the closet lol…

  7. Sandra says:

Clutter on the bathroom counter. My husband never puts anything he uses back in the drawers. The shaving cream can leaves rust marks. AAAAARRRRRGGGGG!

  8. Nancy says:

My Den/Computer room is a disater! Boxes of papers….shelves stuffed to overfow….ratty cat clawed chairs…. or for organization!

  9. Sonja says:

Dishes in the sink along with the recycling in the sink and the dishwasher is empty and the recycling bins are in the next room.,urrrrggggg

  10. Jen says:

Hate that the hubby can't close cabinet doors!! Thinking about taking them all off..lol

  11. Betty Bradley says:

The dishes have to be done and the kitchen has to be clean… And, as long as that done the rest of the house doesn't bother me….. And, to the lady who doesn't like greasy pans….try LA Totally Awesome…. It's from the Dollar General…and I have seen it at Walmart… It is a degreaser….I love it….I use it in my Tub…for soap scum…for cleaning my oven and for my couch and carpet, and as a prewash on clothes. Just make sure you rinse it all out…… It works…I don't care what it has in it……

I just hate all the clutter and don't know what to do with it! Especially junk mail. I throw some things out, but then there are the ads with the coupons and the little pieces of paper tat I write notes on and don't know where to put them. I know I should just throw things out, but it is so hard for me to do! I bought decorative boxes, and now my kitchen counter is cluttered with boxes! My husband is even worse than I am.

  13. Pati says:

My husband hates all the pretty extra pillows on the bed. I told him they are like jewelry for the bed. He still is not impressed when it comes time to remove them for sleeping or making the bed up in the morning!

  14. Zerena says:

I seem to be the only person in our family that can take items to the recycling bin in the garage. It piles up on the counter by the sink waiting for me to take it out. I even put a small tub to collect it, thinking that when it was full someone else might take it out…no it was often overflowing.

  15. Donna says:

II understand the pillow lover I have eight pillows on my bed and my Husband hates all eight of them. I tell him he can get rid of them when I die. Until then they stay

  16. Donna says:

Talk about things that really bug a person one of mine is ordering on line the colors shown are never what you hope them to be. I just send them back and try again. One more is stickers showing the price stuck so firmly a stick of dynamite is needed to remove them
