At this year’s Comic-Con 2013 International in San Diego, HGTV partnered with Summit Entertainment, a LIONSGATE® company, to create an “Ender’s Game” exclusive fan experience as part of the studio’s highly anticipated film promotion. The exhibit featured eight unique rooms, each representing an iconic environment of Ender’s world.
Original film props and set pieces from the movie were used in the exhibit. HGTV also presented a space called “The Journey Begins at Home,” which served as a futuristic interpretation of the Wiggins home living room.
During the four-day event, “Ender’s Game” fans had the chance to interact with digital content, view exclusive film footage, integrate photos of themselves into the highly anticipated Battle Room and enter HGTV’s sweepstakes for the chance to win $10,000 for their own “out of this world” home makeover.
