Viewers just can’t get enough of HGTV’s Property Brothers.  Expert hosts, Drew Scott and Jonathan Silver Scott have a special knack for connecting with their fans, both on-air and on social media.

Drew Scott and Jonathan Scott, hosts of HGTV’s Brother Vs. Brother, Property Brothers, and Buying and Selling.

Last Sunday, the TV duo hosted a Watch & Tweet Party for Brother Vs. Brother, their latest hit series on HGTV.  The “party” was a big hit in its own right, with #BROVSBRO topping Twitter trends charts at #1!

In fact, this season of Brother Vs. Brother has inspired fans to “get social” in a number of fun ways.  HGTV’s second screen app offered viewers the chance to unlock exclusive content during each episode. Visitors to HGTV.com voted and tweeted their picks for #TeamDrew or #TeamJonathan through the site’s interactive Fan Vote.

Facebook fans engaged in entertaining activities like Guess the Twin and the Brother Vs. Brother Personality Quiz.  Avid pinners repinned and discussed their favorite designs on the Brother Vs. Brother Pinterest board.  And Instagram users were treated to fun behind-the-scenes photos and candid snap-shots.

What do Drew and Jonathan think of this social media frenzy?  We recently caught up with the two during filming for a new season of Property Brothers:

Drew:  “There’s no question in my mind that we have the top shows because we have the best fans in the world. We love hosting social media events because it gives us a chance to connect directly with our viewers.”

Jonathan:  “Drew and I strive to connect with our fans in as many ways as possible which is why we love hosting online chats.”

Brother Vs. Brother Twitter Party

And that’s just the beginning for Scott brothers’ fans.  The Brother Vs. Brother Finale promises to be the “social” event of the summer.

You’re invited to a LIVE Pre-Game Party (via streaming video) with Jonathan and Drew this Sunday 9/8c.  Then watch the Brother Vs. Brother Finale at 10/9c and join the conversation using #BROVSBRO.  And be sure to access second screen content during the show with Viggle and IntoNow (available for Android and IOS).

So pop the popcorn, turn to HGTV, power up your device of choice, and get social with the bro’s!  Here’s where you can find Drew and Jonathan:

Scripps Networks (Food Network, HGTV, Travel Channel) is searching for elaborate and interesting homes that were custom-built to reflect the outgoing personalities and passions of the children that live in them. Mirroring the style of other programs that give tours of amazing and unique homes, Kids Cribs will showcase an extremely cool “crib” through a kid-centered tour.

Kids Cribs
Does your home feature an indoor sports court that your child helped design? A theater where your kids and their friends watch their favorite videos? A rock-climbing wall, waterslide, tree house bunk-beds or any other amazing custom feature? If so, we’d love to have you and your child be considered to host an episode of our show!

We’re currently looking for families with outgoing and personable children ages 8-14 to host episodes of Kids Cribs along with their parents. The kids will give fun tours of their amazing homes, while the parents will offer details about the inspiration, how the space came together and how the viewers can create something similar in their homes.

If your family and home fit this description, we’d love to hear from you ASAP! We’re shooting the next episodes this month so please send over a quick note about your family and the unique features of your home, some photos of the home and family and your contact info to sarahp@mediarain.com. Thanks and good luck!
