I was taken by interior designer Linda Woodrum’s comment, during our recent interview: “The night before the furniture arrived, I was sad it was coming in,” she said. “I felt structurally it was so beautiful. I wanted to wait. I wanted to just enjoy the space. The unfurnished kitchen-dining-great room was gorgeous — so elegant, in an informal way.”

You folks are so hot, you’re smoking! Here’s the next location clue: a collection of beautiful wildlife and landscape photos. Do they look familiar?

Our first clue was indeed a photo of a sandy beach. But the symbol traced in the sand — did anyone get the reference? Keep digging. It seems that a few smart sleuths have already figured it out.
Today, I present a portrait of a very crotchety old man. How in the world could he be connected to HGTV Dream Home 2013? It’s your job to discover his name and role in history. Good luck!
At long last, we unveil the HGTV Urban Oasis 2012 location: Miami! Our custom-designed, 1,700-square-foot paradise will be located on the 20th floor of Paramount Bay, the city’s newest residential hot spot. The fully-furnished unit will feature two bedrooms, two and a half baths, a gourmet kitchen and a terrace with exceptional views of Miami Beach, the Atlantic Ocean and the Port of Miami.

I am so pleased to present a how-to project created by HGTV Green Home carpenter David Brown: the headboard from the 2012 master bedroom.
